Yes, but a lot more people would be bumping into stuff since they weren’t watching where they were going.
Seriously, how important is the class to you? You do know that you will be a disruption. I mean, that’s a given. Instructors do not like disruptions, even attractive disruptions as you are sure to be. So if you have a lock on an “A” or an “F” definitely go for it. If not, think about it.
Eh, I ended up not wearing it because I can’t breathe because it’s ass-raping cold here. I’ve been using my inhalor just so I can go outside without having an asthma attack, so restricting my already limited breathing didn’t seem like a good idea.
You’re not supposed to have it so tight you can’t breathe. You should only lace it so it feels snug, but not tight. THEN, over time, as you get used to it, then you can tighten it more.
Hey uhh… you should wear it to my classes. At the very least, I’d go to class more consistently.
But yeah, in terms of things to wear with a corsette, I would imagine just a long-sleeved button up shirt worn over it unbuttoned would be fine, maybe with a fashionable scarf and a pair of slacks or a long skirt (not enough girls wear long skirts anymore).
Sigh. This is the internet. What response do you expect when you ask “Do you think I should wear this piece of black leather fetish gear?”
Well, you’ll get people who say topless is better, of course, but my point still stands.
And yes, I think you should wear it. On the other hand, I’m the person who gave my final speech in Public Speaking thanking my dark lord Satan for my success in this class, so I’m probably not the best judge of social mores.
Nice corset. Is it generic goth, or is it some particular time period? I can’t tell from the pic.
Personally, I like Tudar and Georgian period corsets. They give you damn good cleavage and don’t restrict your waist and ribcage much. Very comfy. Not as goth as Victorian ones, though.
Nice construction. A Victorian chemise type top would be nice under it, if you wanted to wear it in a non-all-gothed-up situation. It would be period (sort of) too. Where did you get the steel front fasteners?
