Should March 8 be A Day Without Men Day?

As you raised it, I briefly contemplated what would happen if all the men in his administration took the day off. Then I realized it would leave DeVos in charge.

You’re right - the mods here are totally lame. I wouldn’t blame you at all if you refused to post here ever again as a protest. That’d show them.

What’s a Nubian?

Heh. If I linked to all the women who have been critical to the development computing and related technology I’d be here all day.

yet I’m the guy who someone loudly proclaims he’s putting on ignore, even though I was clearly (I thought) being sarcastic. yet LinusK prattles on.

Interacting with this OP reminds me of why they say don’t play chess with a pidgeon, they’ll just shit all over your board and strut around like they won regardless.

(I’d rather interact with the shitting, strutting pidgeon, to be honest!)

When your typical day is spent in a basement drinking Faygo Redpop, watching gangbang Scheiße porn and whispering your best PUA lines to a gently warmed cantaloupe, what does a day off look like?

Well, you were trying to, at best. Stupid is as stupid does, and you does quite a bit.

No, A Day Without Mon shows us all how society would be affected if all the Rastafarians disappeared.

Based on post #74, it seems pretty clear that he was lying (about not knowing what “red pill” means) rather than trying to whoosh. And now that he’s been called out on it, he’s pretending that he was just joking.

He’s parodying the Day Without Women, implying white men are being oppressed. He knew it’d get a rise out of the predominantly left-leaning Dope. He doesn’t care if he’s right or wrong. As said in Wayne’s World, “Hook! Reel 'em in!”

Yes, yes. He was, wait for it, TROLLING. He got caught at it. He is trying to wave it off. Will it work or will he join Clothy in the great void?

Being an asshole as a joke is still being an asshole.

Well, do we want to count “stay-at-home mother” as a job? Because if so, hoo boy, you could not be more wrong.

No, I believe he thought he was whooshing. I’m not sure he understands that a whoosh isn’t just lying to people for lulz: a whoosh is when you make a genuinely funny deadpan joke, but other people don’t quite understand that you were making a joke.

If I claimed not to know who Bernie Sanders was, and then someone quoted me talking about Bernie Sanders, that wouldn’t be a whoosh. At best, it would be a deeply saddening attempt at humor.

Doubling down on the lie, as in #74 (with no humor in the post), makes it apparent (to me, at least) that it wasn’t merely a poor attempt at a joke.

what’s wrong with Redpop?

Agreed, FWIW.

Nothing. It even brings a titillating rouge to the lips that muskmelons find irresistible.

I dunno. I read that as a very sad man trying to join the cool kids by making a, what you humans call, “joke.”

Well, I read about “A Day Without Women,” and I was curious what the reaction would be if I proposed a “Day Without Men.”

The result was disheartening, but not surprising.

I was labeled a misogynist troll.

The logic, I guess, is that suggesting the same thing for men, as for women, is misogynistic.

No. The logic is that your OP is misogynistic. Troll.

You’ve been posting here for many years…people know what you’re about. The “misogynist troll” label didn’t arise from this thread.

And that fact that you can’t see that this is logical is why you’re labled a misogynistic troll. It’s equivalent to suggesting “white history month”. (An explanation LinusK most likely won’t get, but if one were to limit ones communication to “things that even very biased and stupid people will understand” one wouldn’t get to say much.)
