Show and tell.....Pet pics

This is the easiest way, a link to all my cat pictures.

The gray/white one in the very first ones is Erica, she’s gone now, she was 20 years old when we put her to sleep 2 1/2 years ago. The day that the Wife found out she was pregnant with the Kid, we went to the pet store and got Erica, she was a very hard one to lose because of the sentimental attachment.

The gray striped male is Marty, or Boo. He’s 14 this April. The nicest cat ever, never once has he even been mischievous.

The pewter cat is Evil Fat Scarlett. Her name says it all, she hates all cats that are not her. She loves certain people, perhaps 3 of us in the world. She’s 7 now.

The yellow cat, is the one and only Cuervo, in certain circles here, something of a Doper legend.

At the very end are some of the first pics of Bear. He has earned the nickname “shithead” because he’s…well, rather a shithead. Wife and Kid call him Lovie. I flatly refuse. We try and try but he seems deaf to the word “no”. He’s a Maine Coon mix, 8 months old, rescued from a shelter a month or so ago to give Cuervo a playmate closer to his own age. It took a few weeks, but the two are literally inseparable now.

I love all of your dogs so far. Dogs rock! kaiwik, I normally prefer my dogs big, but still I find myself envying your houseful of poms. I certainly couldn’t have that many pitties at my house. One is plenty for me.

I don’t have a digital camera but my friend took this picture of Jimbo with her camera phone.

It worked out so well I got my own camera phone and took this one and this one … but it looks like mine isn’t nearly as good as hers so I should just go get a proper camera so I can show him off to the extent that he deserves. Like in this one! (Also not taken by me.)

Ooh, Jimbo’s gorgeous. I love the wrinkly Pit forehead. It gives them this constant “huh wha?”-look.

I have to post a few more pictures here (also seen here before): one of the things about owning a Schnauzer is the trimming that has to be done about every six months. I give you:

What they look like on the way to the parlor.

What they look like coming home afterwards. Also known as “The Streamlined Model”, “Seal” and “Dog Which Closely Resembles Old-Time Hoover Vacuum Cleaner”.
Also, this is my dream dog. One day…

Cooper

He’s a whippet.

OK, I couldn’t resist adding some more…

ETA: Cooper with his monkey is a GREAT photo! What a cutie-pie.

Cleo(patra), the 5 year old Egyptian Spiny Mouse. Look at those huge adorable eyes! And her ears! Awwww!

That is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Except maybe for this little fatty!

Hi **ShermanAtor, ** and welcome to the boards. I’m down here in Puyallup waving at you.

I don’t have any pics on this 'puter. Maybe later I’ll get a chance to link a few. I jsut wanted to welcome you.

Havoc plots her revenge.

threnodyangelfire, the lolcat potential of this photo is tremendous!

Here is Julian, the monster cat. He is quite a large boy.

My other cat, Miranda, is a recluse and refuses to be photographed.

These are my “cat share” cats. (I have a friend who lives here during the week and goes home on the weekends. On the weekends, I get to take care of the kittehs!)

Freia and Siegfried. (Don’t worry. The horse was just sleeping.)

Welcome, ShermanAter, from another PNW resident–been wet enough for ya?

I have a few critters–here’s senior cat Stiggs, who’s been with me twelve years. Alternate title is His Imperial Fluffiness and he earns it every day by dint of MUCH hard work, heh!

This is junior cat Pratchett, who’s a monstrously huge Maine Coon cross. As a size reference, here’s a pic of me holding him. I am not a small person, 5’9" tall so you get an idea of bulk. Alternate title is That Great Orange Bastard. . He likewise earns his title every damned day, too!

Here’s senior dog Space, a Malemute I rescued six years ago. She killed that bone in less than a day’s time!

And finally, junior dog Widget, a Border Jack cross, also a rescue. Widget is all about dignity, obviously, and is very photogenic. I ascribe his powers to his BAT EARS!

That pic of Sherman is the cutest thing EVER!

Well, almost. His competition is this photo of my fat dog, Brandy, at his stupidest (and cuddliest).

This is my little dog, Kara.
This is her pretending to be a musician.
And this is her curled up over a plastic toy scythe I happen to own.

Here’s a photo of the two of them meeting for the first time. Brandy’s about a year and a half older than Kara. That’s me holding onto the little dog.

Brandy and Kara when Kara was still a puppy. She was so small!

Aaaand, a more recent pic of the two of them together.

presenting my critter slideshow

Murphy, Turk, and Speck are mine, the wolf pack and Her Royal Featheredness belong to the divemaster. or is it the other way around? :stuck_out_tongue:

i don’t have his kitties Mako and Kona caught on digital yet, but they are gorgeous beasts.

I am a newby at videos, but I have posted a couple of my critters. I have a small farm with goats and chickens and turkeys and cats and dogs!

My turkeys are Bronze Breasted, I let them run around free right now, they come when I call them so it’s kind of cool. Here is a video of them

My Turkeys

I also have 5 goats, the little black one is a boy, I call him “Useless” because, well he is! Sasha is a Meremma, she’s an awesome guardian dog. She doesn’t chase anything, just looks after them all.

Sasha and her Goats

Here are my 3 dogs, Pycho Charlie, Little Fat Max and Sasha the Wonder Dog. Charlie and Max are rescued Australian Shepherds. They are kind of useless for the farm because of the abuse before I got them, but I love them! This was taken 3 days after the last blizzard. The driveway still hadn’t been plowed and it was about 30-C. The drift the dogs are tripping up and down is about 4 or 5 feet tall.

Snow Dogs

My little vet bills:
Bernie she’s my baby - a geriatric baby! Obtained from the Humane Society in June 1989, she was a 6 week old ball of fur and earmites. In 2 hours she gets to go back to the vet for a check on her thyroid issues. She’s a tad skinny, but she will not act like the grand dame she is, rather she is constantly playing, clawing, meowing. Maybe it’s senility.

Cleo is The Kid’s baby, not that you’d know it. She’s been having health problems lately too, reason yet unknown. She’s 15 years and now only 9 pounds of pissiness wrapped in fur (she was 13#). She hates being picked up, but loves attention and the red laser pointers. Cleo is my cuddle bunny at night.

Tolerance. It’s funny how they interact - Bernie is the alphakitty, but since she’s been ill Cleo has tried to take over. No go. Now wherever one lies, the other plops down alongside. They will NOT look at each other, but neither will move.

Bonkers! is my second youngest cat, at 4 years. He’s the alarm cat in the mornings. Yes, he really is that serious, except when he’s being a big, drooling babycat.

Emily the psycho cat. She hides most of the time, especially from my husband.

Felix isn’t he handsome? He’s a big furry lug. We call him a floor owl because he’ll sit and stare at you for ages.

Valentine Michael Smith my contented lap cat.

Her Royal Highness, Princess Charity Too spoiled, no such thing!
