This is not Roger Daltrey’s almost 70 year old natural chest, is it? There’s gotta be some sort of surgery involved, right?
While we’re at it, my son insists that that was Ricardo Montalbon’s chest in Star Trek was not a prosthetic. I am unconvinced this can be true.
The wrinkles are saying yes, but that in no way diminishes the incredible amount of work he must have been doing all these years to maintain his muscle tone.
I’m not really understanding the question. Looks like a body that is neither thin nor fat nor overly muscled. Maybe tanned and manscaped.
I believe the issue here is how a man of his age - which, I believe, is now around 102 - can have such a firm chest.
Sometimes, if you’re real lucky, time and gravity have little effect on you.
I think Daltry has always been buff, so it’s not surprising. President Putin is famous for finding manly ways to go shirtless, and he’s got a nice chest too.
No kidding! Dude be fit.
That is definitely the chest of a 70 year old man who’s taken fairly good care of himself.
Looks quite real.
I get the impression that Daltrey takes his job as frontman very seriously, and has kept himself in shape to do it.
There are nips, tucks and implants available for men, and he can certainly afford the surgeries. There’s just not enough of a view in that picture to know for sure that he hasn’t had cosmetic surgery. You’d need a good view of the creases and underarms to look for scars - and some people don’t scar that much anyhow.
But it’s also possible that it’s natural; I’ve seen some older men who are still surprisingly well defined, even some who don’t work out at all. Testosterone lucky bastards.
Although I’m thinking it’s waxed, regardless. Most men of European descent aren’t that hairless naturally.
I agree that there’s no way to be sure, but he doesn’t seem the type to have cosmetic surgery on his body. (I could believe almost any celebrity of a certain age would have a little work done to make their face look younger, although I don’t know that Daltrey ever has.) If he were inclined to have work done on his torso you’d think he’d have something done about the very obvious scar he does have. It’s been there for many years, but I think it’s easier to see now than when he was younger and in even better shape. You can see it in the photo linked in the OP, but I found one on Flickr that shows it more clearly: Roger Daltrey's stomach scar | During the concert the subjec… | Flickr
He may very well shave/wax his chest, but if so he’s been doing it for decades. Just Google what he looked like at Woodstock, for instance.
If only Rog’s voice was in as good of shape. On a good night he is magnificent, but truly good nights are fewer and further between. Now he’s got an allergic reaction to pot smoke that shuts his throat down like *that *when stray fumes make it up to the stage. They’ve taken to showing public service notices on the screens before the show, asking fans to eat their weed instead of smoking it.
Okay, so we know he does scar, pretty dramatically at that, since that scar is decades old and still very visible. And in this picture, he’s not unbelievably buff either. I’m going to vote for “natural tits”.
I’m not sure I agree with you about him not being the “type”, though. A nearly 70 year old man who prances around on stage in an open shirt? I don’t think it gets more “the type” than that! But hey, he’s still hot, and I’m as willing to objectify a willing hunk of man meat as the next middle aged housewife…
One thing I’ve noticed recently is that your body can stay a lot less old looking than your face. I’ve noticed female stars in bikini pics that have firm bodies but very wrinkled faces.
I’ve heard that it’s because it’s much easier to tone the muscles of your body than your face. There’s no real obvious way to add resistance to the face.
Maybe he’s taking HGH and testosterone.

Very true. The late, great Juliet “Aunt Peg” Anderson made her last explicit film “Ageless Desire” when she was in her 60s. She never had any plastic surgery and her face reflects her 60 years, but her body looks amazingly like her prime - which, equally amazingly, started in her 40s.:
Even if you do a lot of sunbathing your face probably spends a lot more time being exposed to the sun than most of the rest of your body, so sun damage is presumably going to be more severe on the face than the chest.
I wonder if he still hopes he dies before he gets old?
