Well, I don’t agree with him about his remedies, but he does have a good point about our double standard, in that it’s ok for us to carry out assassinations of terrorists, like we did in Yemen, and with our attempt to kill Sadaam, we criticize Israel when they do it.

I don’t feel any sympathy for the terrorists and their supporters in the middle east. They **all **support the suicide bombers, yet when israel (or america, for that matter) retaliates they complain when there is collateral damage. Don’t want collateral damage? Then don’t put your kid next to a Hamas member, and don’t pretend that you don’t know who they all are, either. Stay far away, why would a rational being place themselves in the same city block as a Hamas member? It’s asking to be blown up.

Perhaps he’s talking about the crazed fuckers you see on the news every week. The ones that are supposedly holding a funeral service, but all the attendees are wearing masks, shooting assault rifles into the air, and have bombs strapped to their torsos.
I’ve often wondered why the Israeli military didn’t just do a carpet bomb run at every Hamas funeral parade and kill as many of the sons of bitches as they could while they’re out in the open… instead of letting them slither across the border for suicide/homicide strikes.

Supporting terrorism, unpalatable and awful a philosophy as it is, does not surely make someone eligible for untried death - or does it in your world? By the same token, should Israeli extremists who applaud the death of innocent Palestinians therefore also be fair game for summary execution?

The only part of this train wreck I have any sympathy for is the issue of people living next to terrorist workshops.
This has been a standard tactic of many terrorists, for a long time: they set up base right in the middle of a town or a refugee camp, so that, if the enemy strikes them, the enemy will also cause civilian casualties.
By the laws of war we follow, the terrorists are the ones guilty of the war crime. But by the laws of war they follow, it’s the regular military that is guilty of the war crime. And when you’re so down-and-out that suicide attacks start to seem attractive, then the “involuntary martyrdom” of your neighbors will also start to make sense.
