Shut your mouth!

This thread may very well get moved to the pit, but for now I don’t feel like starting a thread there.

Right now, my brother is sitting beside me, taking enormous bites of pizza, and then smacking his lips and generally boorishly chewing with his mouth open, and it’s really gross. It irritates me every time he does it (most of the time he eats) but I’m too polite to tell him to stop.

I am on your side there. I absolutely hate it when people do that. Even when eating something small, and even when they are otherwise respectable people.

I also hate it when people’s noses whistle and breathe loudly when eating.

People (males) who insist on leaving the bathroom door wide open so that the whole street can hear their pee thunder into the toilet.

(fyi I am male, but I still manage to go to the toilet quietly and respectfully)

Frontseat passengers with an uncanny ability to move their head in time with yours when you are trying to see something.

Taxi drivers generally.

People with an amazing 6th sense which enables them to combine the knowledge of where you are sat, and when the most important bits of a movie are in order to get in your way when they get up and go to the toilet (again) or to get more snacks.

People who carelessly pee/fornicate in public (get back to the fucking stoneage where you belong!)

I’ve been known to look at those people and say “That food sounds good”. It takes 'em a second, then they usually stop.

What is wrong with people??

Zette

Some of us are completely clueless…I wouldn’t get that, Zette. Then again, I also wouldn’t eat like that unless I wanted to deliberately annoy someone, so there you go:)

I’m glad I’m not alone… it also really bugs Jane… but I don’t think we’ll be able to have casual conversations like that again if she’s really as mad as she seems.
