I also emailed MsThing letting her know the game is over and telling her I think she should be woman enough to go to FFF and face the folks there since she played the game there too, but she hasn’t been banned from there AFAIK . Do I really think she has that much class ? Nope !

Yes, there are reasons to wonder about Crunchy Frog’s involvement in this, but there were also reasons to wonder about his involvement in it last time. He came away from that with a clean bill of health.
I’m sure the mods and admins are aware of the possibilities and will look into them as they deem appropriate. However, posting suspicions here really can’t do much good except to vent your spleen.
I say give it some time before start demanding that people explain themselves.
There is no possible way, until I hear him say so himself, that I will believe Cruncy Frog knew about Little Tassie’s deception here.
He’s a wonderful curmudgeon, and a truly shameless flirt, but most of all, he is an honest and very empathetic, concerned member of the SDMB community.
From the mild mentions of Crunchy in this thread, I don’t think there are a lot of folks who disagree with me on that stance. Some, perhaps, need the reassurance on knowing Crunchy is ok, and that he isn’t taking this deception even worse than the rest of us are.

I know I haven’t always agreed with obfusciatrist, but I certainly have to agree with him here. The moderators and administration of this board will examine the evidence and I have complete faith in them to do whatever is appropriate. Throwing around suspicions and dragging someone’s name through the mud before all the evidence is brought to light isn’t going to help the situation.
All I really have is pity for LittleTassie, because she obviously has serious mental/emotional issues that cause her to play upon the emotions of others. In the thread involved, I told her my prayers were with her. They still are, but instead directed at her “son”, they are for her. All I can hope for is that she soon finds the help she desperately needs.
I wanted to start this thread too but I also didn’t want to feed the bitch’s need for attention - I’m glad it’s here though.
I presume you are reading this Honesty? Have you any idea what the thread was like for people who had lost children? It’s 9 years on April 14 since my son died. I’m in tears now and it is the cruellest month of the year for me. To read that a child was dying and a mother was posting on message boards while a child was dying was just sick. I do believe there was some lameass excuse about being too upset to be in the hospital. That just made it WORSE! I didn’t believe your scam but Jesus wept, what a sick puppy you are!

One thing I don’t get: Why were people cross-posting links to the thread in all the fora? Plenty of people share bad, soul-wrenching shit in MPSIMS - why did this particular piece of bad shit warrant cross-posts by so many posters and a pit thread by Mr. C? What could we have possibly done for “Little Tassie” (a name made for Snopes glurge gallery if I’ve ever heard one) besides offer sympathies, which apparently many people did?
I mean, you either read the thread and post your sympathies or you don’t - I think my reaction yesterday was “oh, I’m sure someone will go in there and give whomever it is a cyber-hug or something, no need for me to waste precious minutes of lunch hour.” But why were reprise and Max Torque (if I’ve got that right) posting links everywhere? Guys?

Ok, color me out of the loop. Do I have this straight? There once was a poster named Honesty, that was engaged to Crunchy Frog. She was banned, and the engagement subsequently called off. Crunchy is still involved with this woman. LittleTassie is a sock for Honesty?

Maybe alot was happening behind the scenes, maybe she hit a nerve with other people here, maybe more than one person was perpetrating the scam, maybe… hell, it’s all speculation on my part. We’ll probably never know.

Yep, they got me good. I posted in the thread, and I went and signed Crunchy’s card. Hell, I was ready to cry over this fictional dying little boy and his fictional mom. I hope that tides everyone over, because it’ll be the last fucking time I do such a thing in this place. I decline to be stupid in the same way over and over and over again.
As for Crunchy…am I to undertand *Little Tasshole is his former girlfriend, and he didn’t know it? And that this could happen not once but twiceand he had nothing to do with it? Hell with that–I’m only willing to believe in coincidences up to a point. Crunchy is now a permanent resident of my shitlist, whether or not the admins and mods find evidence–if he is really and truely innocent, then it’s for being too fucking stupid for me to bother with.

And if anyone doubts my character as far as trolls on the boards go, I invite anyone to email TubaDiva and ask her how many times I’ve provided the information needed to ban one of Honesty’s puppets. Ask her how I’ve volunteered information showing that Honesty was back on the boards when I found out about it. I’ve never tried to hide Honesty from the mods and admins or help her return to the boards. In fact, I’d like it if TubaDiva can vouch for those actions in this thread, so everyone can see that I don’t abet trolls, even the ones I’m dating.
I yes, I am still in a relationship with her. It’s a complex situation which I don’t wish to discuss here. She has had a rough life. I have urged her (months ago) to seek help. However, despite any feelings I have for her, I’ve always held an individual responsible for his/her own actions.
And people - please stop emailing me for an explanation! My inbox is flooded! I don’t know what’s going on right now any more than anyone else. I saw Lynn announce in that thread that Little Tassie was a troll, and I emailed her immediately asking who it was. Then, because I’m at work, I had some work to do. I know as much as you people right now. Ok, I have a little more of the story since I’ve called Honesty, but until I can verify what I’ve been told, I have nothing more to tell anyone than what’s on the boards.
Actually, I linked to the MPSIMS thread from one forum and one forum only - the Pit; something for which I was duly (and justifiably) scolded and for which I apologised. I’m happy for Lynn to make public my emails to her regarding this matter if it will clear up any confusion in people’s minds, but I think the thread speaks for itself. I posted, I got warned, apologised and asked for the thread to be closed.
Why did Little Tassie touch such a nerve?
Partly because like many others I’ve been through a similar situation and know how desolate it feels to be utterly powerless in the face of life’s cruelty. And partly because her plight was brought to my attention by posters on both SDMB and 3F who have a track record of credibility. And finally, because Australia is such a small place trying to pull off this kind of bluff seems beyond comprehension.
If it makes anyone feel any better, I was planning to have get well balloons sent to the hospital today (of course some reason would have developed why she couldn’t le me know what hospital Sonny was in) and I gave her both my phone numbers and told her to call me reverse charges any time.
This community has been wonderfully supportive of me through some very rough times and I wanted to pass that on to someone else who appeared to be having a very rough time also.
I, too, can only hope that Tigress/Missy/Tassie/Pantherchick/Honesty (yeah, the last one’s ironic) gets the help she so desperately needs.
I would also like to offer my apologies to any fellow dopers who extended their support on the basis of my post. Next time I believe a fellow doper needs help I won’t be making any public announcements about it.
And finally - yes there is a whole lot more going on. I spent hours last night trawling through posts on both Fathom and SDMB and the complexity of the web this person has created is truly awesome (the washing machine didn’t swallow all my left socks, this troll has them). But as someone who was at least in part responsible for creating this, I’m going to join the admins and mods of both boards in asking people to let the powers that be sort it out : it’s just too damned complex for us mere mortals to do very much about.

In the Nekked Pizza Party thread there is a point where Crunchy and LittleTassie posted five minutes apart. Presumably their IPs for those two posts are different. Doesn’t prove anything but it is the closest we can get to seeing them in a room at the same time (in the online sense).
Guilt by association? Didn’t they nave a word for that in the 50’s? Oh, yes, I remember now - McCarthyism! And jumping all over flyboy for being kindhearted? That’s just fucked up. Now we punich people for being sympathetic? What a sad world you must live in.
I ask you to email TubaDiva also, just as I said in my previous post. I have never hidden or condoned Honesty’s behavior on the SDMB. I have turned her in every time I have found her to be back. If I’d known this was her, I’d have turned her in this time, too. Yes, there’s a connection between me and a person who keeps returning to this board - does that make it my fault? Do I keep her on a leash and watch her every second of the day? I’m sure you’ll agree it’s impossible for me to control her actions or know what she’s up to all the time. If you think otherwise, you must be too stupid for me to bother with.

The posting style and writing style of LittleTassie is different from anything I had seen Honesty do. I had no more reason to think something was going on than anyone else who posted to that thread.
As for the card I linked to, I’ll say AGAIN. The same thing was going on at FFF where Honesty was posting under the name PantherChick. Honesty made a card and asked me to post it here after I mentioned the thread started by flyboy. Since she’s been banned, I posted the link for her. It seemed reasonable enough to me at the time.
I don’t know much about tracing an IP, but can you tell if the IP for LittleTassie goes to Illinois? Cuz I can guarantee the IP from my post will go to AT&T in Bridgeton MO. And any other person from ST Louis could tell you, there is no way to get from Bridgeton to Illinois in less than 20-25 minutes. This may not prove that I didn’t know about it, but it does show that she is not my sock puppet.

IMO, people need not to blame Ron (Crunchy Frog) about this fiasco his girlfriend created.
It was confirmed elsewhere that the IP addresses where the same for PantherChick and LittleTassie (aka Honesty) In addition, an email received from the LilTas on Fathom, even though a yahoo.au address also contained the same exact IP address of Honesty’s. Also, the IP address is the same exact one that dates back to a post Ms. Honesty did back in December.
I am sure that Crunchy Frog feels pretty bad about all this, flyboy got sucked too. I assume that of the people that got scammed, Crunchy Frog and flyboy are the two that really got sucked in. Crunchy is not her babysitter.
Although Ron, many here are wondering why you would continue in a relationship with an obviously very unstable woman. Not that it’s any of our business but stunts like this are suspicious in her overall mental health. I 'spose you must love her very much.
