Well, you for one,and the OP for another. If this is the best you can do to attack the Obama adminsitration, he’s going to sail to a 2nd term. Have you seen those approval ratings? 82% going in. I hope you guys nominate that imbecile, Palin, next time. Obama wouldn’t even have to campaign.
Idiots.
What a waste of bandwith. That and five minutes I’ll never have back.
Wait a minute! It’s a CNN story! I guess Karl Rove and Dick Cheney re-configured the ol’ Halliburton ‘Hurricane Machine’ and went forward in time to hypnotize Biden into making a total jackass of himself. Yeah. That must be it.
By the way, both Biden and Obama come off like clueless idiots in that video!
Maybe you don’t realize it, but that’s a notice to anyone who doesn’t already agree with you not to take you seriously on politics, because that’s the kind of petty grievance that only resonates with true believers and had nothing to do with this topic.
I don’t regard this pit as an attack on the Obama administration.
what’s his name never hurt Bush 41.
Get back to us when he shoots someone in the face.
I don’t think Biden’s a hunter, but… be careful what you wish for.
Oh very well. I don’t really wish The Flying Dutchman will get back to us when Biden shoots someone in the face.
I believe he is, actually
Wow. Eight years of “plagiarist” jokes to look forward to now, huh?
Here’s a better link, I hope: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/vp/28780076#28780076 It’s toward the middle half of the piece.
I thought Mr Obama was significantly annoyed at Mr Biden. His affect is past straight-faced; it’s grim and at one point point he shakes his head “Don’t go there” and reaches out to keep Mr Biden from saying anything further. Mr Obama clearly did not think it was an appropriate remark.
This will be a fun dynamic to watch. What’s more enjoyable is that it’s the senior, more-experienced politician–Mr Biden–who will be coming in to the Oval Office on a regular basis to have his mouth washed out with soap by a President determined not to let petty sniping derail his agenda.

If he isn’t, he might as well start now. The ultimate “V.P. Goes Hunting” news story has already been written. Biden would literally have to kill someone in order to beat that.
Previously, such events revolved around relative political minutiae: the V.P.‘s stance on gun control, sportsmans’ rights, etc. Now, the only question anyone will ask is: “Did he shoot anyone in the face?” If not, then no story. The standard of newsworthiness has been raised permanently.
Well, that’s the downside: even if Biden DOES shoot someone in the face, people will just be like: “Oh, real original, Joe. We’ve NEVER seen that before.”
Personally I think we should impeach.
See, its stuff like this which is why you guys never win any elections.
I hear a rumbling coming, from out the woods and under rocks they come crawling hauling 8 years of accumulated manure. They stop, sink clawed hands in the fetid pile and amid hollering begin their assault…
The cool thing is, Obama didn’t laugh, and obviously made a gesture of, “Knock it off.”
Now…it’s time for Biden to go to an undisclosed location.
:D:D:D:D:D:D
Coming from the prince of pit thread starters.
Hey, I’ve endured eight years of your countless pit threads, including 3 of some obscure no count plumber in the last couple of months , so quit yer bitchin.
Biden was being very Biden, and I love Obama’s stern but silent and immediate reaction. I am glad this happened. First, it really demonstrates that Obama does not think cheap shots at the expense of others is funny, not even when the shot is lighthearted and not even if the target is not a democrat. I think it sends the clear message that he expects better. I know that if I were in his staff, I would be mindful of that look on his face and think twice about some dig or joke I was about to say.
Man, he really had a face like thunder for a moment!
I am sure it was not staged, but it was perhaps fortunate. Justice Roberts looked a bit ridiculous at the inauguration. To me he seemed nervous before the flub. Today, he swore Obama in again, in front of witnesses, and wearing his official robes. Now, if Obama were just concerned about the oath being actually official, or political antagonists making as if it meant his presidency were not official, he could have any federal justice do the redo. But he did not. He got Chief Justice Roberts. It avoided making Roberts more of a figure of fun. And, by rebuking the Vice President for poking fun of the situation, he further made it clear that he respects Justice Roberts and will not tolerate anyone disrespecting him.
There there is another aspect. Obama is nothing if not ambitious; I think he might have a mind to pull a Taft, and one day could serve under Roberts. Might as well mend a rift before it grows too much.
I also could see in his face right afterwards (yesterday), that he was heartbroken that the oath didn’t go well. He stays cool, but sometimes just a look says it all. Man, I’d hate to be his daughter and make him angry!
