I tried a search, but I suck at it.
I know there was an IMHO thread asking if it improved the board speed, would people be willing to give up the ‘signature’ function. My question, since I don’t really remember much of the substance of that thread, is would that really help speed up the board? If so, is that an option being looked at?
I know that everbody probably knows the answers to this questions. I apologize in advance!
I also suck at searching, but I remember someone (maybe Tuba) saying that sigs don’t have much effect on speed.
Sigs do not overly affect board speed, however, we do ask that people keep 'em short and sweet and use them judiciously.
This is more for clarity in posts (less clutter, more readability) than for speed considerations, though I’m sure that long posts would add to our burden. Let’s just not have to go there, okay?
