A long time ago there was a thread begun by if memory serves correctly a lady who had to or had just had to have her dog put to sleep.
Possibly Silent Bob (I dont recall the exact name) posted a most heart rending reply to the person.
A friend of mine has today gone through this terrible experience and i thought of what ‘Bob?’ wrote and wondered if those touching words might be well aimed at my friend.
Ive tried searching but the member search seems to be swithced off and so just wondered if anyone might recall the correct thread or UN?
I don’t know the thread you are referring to but, I think perhaps the user’s name was Silent Rob. Wouldn’t swear to it, though.

Well, we have a Silent Rob and a Silent Bob. Go to ‘Search’, type the name in the ‘Search by username field’, select the forum (probably MPSIMS), and then select how far back you want to search (when was this posted?) Good luck.
I remember that one too! I used it for a friend as well. Very touching.

thanks everybody, Jk especially, dammned if i could find it but that registered from a while back and its a tearjerker.
Saw my friend today and found out his sad news, its a thing ive been through many times (an occupational hazzard of homing older/unwanted/problem dogs).
Ive been where he is at right now but i just couldnt think of anything appropriate or consoling to say.
That Silent Bob thing never left my memory and now can pass it on to my friend in the knowledge that he will undoubtedly cry and undoubtebly feel better for doing so.
