In the Veggie Tales religious video series for children, they usually have a segment called “Silly Songs with Larry.” These are amazing and funny and hard to get out of your head.

I love Larry. My fave is the one where he claims the tomato cannot sing.
My daughter had this DVD when she was in high school. (These are the non-religious songs from the shows, even this old atheist was not turned off by them.) They are damn catchy. My other daughter’s boy friend sneered at them, but after watching left singing

I love “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything” and “The Water Buffalo Song”.
The Water Buffalo Song is my favourite.
Though the song on ‘Lord of the Beans’ is great! Inspired by Lord of the Rings, the Cucumber is singing like Presley while dressed up like an elf. At the end, he gets exposed by one of the other characters who says, “You’re no elf. You’re an elvish impersonator”.
I laughed a long time about that one.
Not a Silly Song with Larry, but a great Veggie Tales song nonetheless: “We’re Vikings.” Done with a love for Gilbert & Sullivan. Awesome.

I don’t think this is one of Larry’s silly songs, but “The Bunny Song.” Especially the background vocals:

I love ALL those songs… my personal favorite, is from the Christmas CD, (The Christmas Singalong, I think is it’s name). I dont’ even know the name, but it is about Larry, who has 3 cookies for Santa… and first a bank robber comes in, then a Viking, and finally is a member of the IRS. HILARIOUS!!!
The Pirates who don’t do anything is good one too. Jr. Asparagus is a favorite in our house. We have a tradition of listening to the Christmas CD as we travel for the holidays. Our kids are 18 and 20, and we STILL love to sing along!
One I like that hasn’t been mentioned yet is “Monkey!”
It’s fun to sing these loudly (and not very well) with a group of people. 
Last week we had some couples over for dinner and Silly Songs came up. My wife sung the first couple of words of the chorus, and the whole table immediately joined in.
I love that song.

I honestly loved the one when Larry got pulled off, and replaced with Mr. Lunt. You know, the love song to the Cheeseburger. I also liked The Belly Button song, as it’s the closest they got to a true parody.
I may or may not know this song by heart.
I definitely didn’t re-enact it in high school Spanish class with my best friend. That would have been impossible, what with me being so cool and all.

I love that song, but it terrifies my kids when I launch into it.
I love Larry’s silly songs! I was even given a larger than lifesize singing Larry toy. I had to take the batteries out after it started moving and singing without my pushing the button. My theory is, it was trying to kill me.
