Anyone familiar with TicketMaster? I am ready to purchase my tickets, and I complete all the information, but there seems to be NO WAY to actually complete the purchase! This is so frustrating! Has anyone experienced the same? …Anyone have advice here? (FYI: It is next to impossible to contact TicketMaster for help.)
What do you mean by no way? There’s no continue, submit, etc. button? Are you sure you filled everything in? Do you have an ad-blocker enabled?
Purchased tickets on Ticketmaster numerous times. Are you sure that you’re on the true website or are using the app? It’s very straight forward.
From Wikipedia:
Every year Ticketmaster sells nearly 500 million tickets for a huge variety of concerts, events, and games, and every year their sites receives more than a billion visits.
Congratulations! You’re dealing with one of the most despised corporations on the planet.
It’s been awhile for me but I believe if you fish around their site you should come across a chat bot (automated chat support). These have never helped anyone except for the most very basic of queries, but if you persist you may get the opportunity to have your problem dealt with by an agent, who might get back to you after several days.
First you should try simpler solutions, such as clearing your internet cache - history, cookies. Or if you have a second web browser installed you could try that. For example; sometimes Chrome will work when Firefox doesn’t.
I purchase dozens of tickets on Ticketmaster. It would be helpful if I could see a screenshot of your issue, but without it here’s my best guess: On the purchase page, on the left side below the credit card information, you have to accept or decline their ticket insurance. You must select one or the other, otherwise it won’t allow you to make the purchase. That has even caught me, an experienced user, several times.
How do I post screen shots? The “up arrow Icon” appeared to let me, but then I get an error I cannot post “media items” in a post.
I did click “no insurance”, and it made no difference.
You have to host it elsewhere online, and include a link to it here.
I figured it out. It made me “ADD” my card which, to me, means “SAVE” my card! I don’t like that. It is either misleading or saving my card anyway or both.
Yes. You’re adding your card to your account. And saving it as part of your account. That way they always have a card to charge when you go ticket shopping.
Sounds like a Ticketmaster stunt, being the dirtbag company that they are. In many places/countries it is illegal to retain a persons credit card info without approval. Reasons for this are obvious, as countless companies have suffered information breaches. Don’t know where you’re located.
As you have discovered, some companies ignore the law, or slither around it, and place the onus on the consumer to make certain their info isn’t kept. Contact them (good luck with that) and request they do not retain your info.
Maybe try logging into your account and look for somewhere to disallow. Better yet, cancel your account.
Sirius Radio is another company that defaults to saving credit card info.
You could try this address. No guarantee it will work, and it could take a few days to get a reply:
