I want to change my Windows Startup sound to a different .wav. How can I do this? I went to the desktop theme menu under control panel, but it won’t let me change the file. Do I have to make a desktop theme for this small change? And if so, how?
Duh! I changed it under Control Panel/Sounds, man am I an idiot. Well, I guess you can delete this post or lock it up if you want.
No, you dont have to create a whole new theme…it should be as simple as…My computer > control panel > sounds&multimedia > select ‘window start’ sound and change it to whatever .wav file you like
