Simpsons Fans: Unite to Cure my Ignorance!

Well, not so much ignorance as forgetfulness.

As a part of a large inside joke I am assigning Simpsons characters to friends of mine. For example I am Ralph Wiggum because I tend to say stupid, yet funny, things without trying. What I need are names of characters, more specificly:

the Springfield U. nerds
the guy that Bleedin’ Gums learned under (the one that played umbrella)
the historian of the Springfield museum
Gabbo’s puppeteer
the cat burglar
that cool kid that lived with the Simpsons for one episode (“I’m outta here, Mr. S!”)
the guy at the Spirograph factory
that man in Bart’s class that has a son who “sleeps in a drawer”
the working duck (I can’t remember what episode, but its’ a duck in a hardhat at the power plant)
Bart’s ballet teacher

Wow, this is an inside joke! Even Simpsons fans would have trouble recognizing some of these names out of context. At least I would, even though I can picture all of them.

Off the top of my head, I can only help you with 2:

Kearny has a son who “sleeps in a drawer.”

Roy stayed with the Simpsons for the episode “Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie” but then left to live with “two sexy ladies”.

The duck’s name is driving me nuts…I am saying the episode to myself but I keep coming up with Zutroy, the illegal immigrant who works for shiny pennies as his reward.

One of the SU nerds is named Gary.

“Mr Simpson, Gary spilled his ear medicine…”

I have the Guide to the Simpsons at home, I’ll look up all the ones that are in there (up through the 1997 season, I think)

The Spirograph guy was simply “Dr. S.” He found a direct correlation between the decline of spirograph and the rise of gang activity.

The duck’s name is “Stewart.” Spelling uncertain.
