I don’t know if I’d really call that a “preview”, but it’s definitely something I’m going to see when it comes out.
Does that mean it’s almost time for the series to be over?
Not according to Matt Groening (second-to-bottom question). A movie didn’t mean “near the end of the series” for South Park.
They’ve got at least one more season already in the works, and I think they’re under contract for one more after that. So I doubt it.
Heck, X-Files limped along for a while after its movie, and Simpsons isn’t nearly as fucked up.
Still sucks though, this movie will the icing on Al Jeans cake.
Is the movie going to be animated or live action? That live action opening has thrown me for a loop.
The movie is going to be animated, as far as I know. I believe the live action opening was to promote the new season (of the television show).
Well, excuuuse me! 
It’s good to know that’s it’s finally happening though. This is the first time in a long time that I’ve been excited about the Simpsons.
