Since when was TVAA banned?

I can honestly say that my opinion of a poster did not change w/their banning - Most, I thought were jerks. A handful of others I liked, but still realized that they could, indeed, act like a jerk at times. (true of most of us, of course)

Wheeeeee!!! I’m with your daughter - that looks like it was FUUUUNNNNNNNNNN!

Hee hee!

Ok, I’m kidding. Glad you’re both safe.

[Arrgh! First time I ever posted to the wrong thread! I am so sorry. Please disregard. I’m gonna post it in the right thread, as it makes no sense here.]

Methinks thou posted in the wrongeth thread.

{I knew you were going to say that, dan}

And just where were you, dantheman, with some other person’s daughter, and exactly what was so much fun? :dubious:

Perhaps a link to the other thread would be in order? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I would do so, ETF, but this is a serious thread, you see. Serious. Thread.

Now that’s a banned name: The Serious Threads! But punk or goth? Hmmmm.

I believe you have a bad memory or are perhaps a liar with an ax to grind. Either way, please back up your assertion.

Far as I can tell, Dan only used the Nazi attack on Ben, apologized for it but evidently didn’t mean it.

It is, indeed, one of the reasons he was banned. Another reason, if I recall correctly, was the way he’d weasel when called on stuff.

Lynn I believe that Izzy was questioning the number of people DITWD did the “big lie/Nazi” thing to. I’d only recalled Ben myself, but in the linked threads he did indeed use the phrase “the Big Lie” with a number of other posters, inlcuding Fenris, though he did not, in the linked thread, include the tag line “and your friend Goebels”. Though, I would point out that using just “The BIG LIE” after the warning wrt “big lie and your friend” was not the brightest move, especially after dicussions wrt to phrase itself being a Nazi term.
