For me, it’s Claire Huxtable. She is so damn smug. Just the way that she speaks makes me want to scream.
What character/s annoy you and why?
Pretty much all of them. Except the characters in Made In Canada who are not Victor. They’re okay.
Grace in Grace Under Fire. I want to kick her ass.
I used to really like Monica on Friends, but the character has changed so much over the years that now I can’t stand her.
She’s strident, annoying and has that awful stringy hair. She’s become as annoying as her whiny-ass brother.
I hate the entire cast of “Everybody Loves Raymond” except for Robert, and maybe the adorable kids.
Will and Grace from Will and Grace
Ross from Friends is definitely the most annoying sitcom character ever.

George Costanza. I have never liked the nebbish/ loser charac-ter. It grates on my nerves.
Michael and Stephanie (his wife… I’m not sure that’s her name) on Newhart are the epitome of annoying.
Peggy Hill must die.
I actually like the interplay between Ray and Debbie on Everyone Loves Raymond, but I detest both of his parents’ characters so much that I have to change the channel anytime either is on. A pity, as both Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle are very talented actors and have played many fine roles.
I have much the same reaction to the character of Kramer on Seinfeld, except that Michael Richards has about as much acting talent as your average rock…

I hate the cast of that show so much that I put them all on my Celebrity Death wish this year. All six of them are so damn annoying.
The first ones who sprung to mind upon seeing the thread title were Urkel and Michelle from Full House. How I loathed that monkey-faced tot and her horrifically lame quips–“you got it, dude!” etc–which never failed to elicit a chorus of “AAAWWWs” from the equally lame studio audience.
Characters whose entire “schtick” revolves around a catch-phrase of any kind tend to wear very, very quickly on my nerves. A list of characters who don’t annoy me would probably be shorter, now that I think about it.
Props, noddygrrl for reminding me of what may have been the most irritating, smug, self-righteous piece of crap show EVER. (Wait…should I give you props for that? ;))
Fuck Full House. I hated that show with a passion.
I always hated Marcy from Married With Children. I would have missed the insults that Al gave her… but that’s about it.
Diane from Cheers drove me crazy. There isn’t anything I would have missed about her.

All of Seinfeld. The supporting cast of Will and Grace. Heck, I could be here all day, come to think of it.
