Ok, I should shoot myself for even admitting to watching this show, but somehow I got hooked into 7th heaven. Anyways, the twins on that show. HORRIBLE actors, I honestly can’t imagine how they can act that bad, unless they ARE acting, and they’re supposed to sound like they’re retarted. I know I sound sarcastic, but anyone who’s seen the show in the last episode knows what I’m talking about. I kinda surprised, they never ‘disappeared’ from the show. Not neccisarily written off it, but just there one episode and gone the next with no mention of it.
I’ve have to agree with Ross from Friends, George from Seinfeld, and Danny Tanner from Full House. I HATE Bob Saget. Ugh. Please don’t let him back on TV unless it’s as a judge on Star Search or one of those other shows with celebrity judges that I refuse to watch.
I’ll have to add “Cousin Larry Appleton” from Perfect Strangers.
And Terri from Three’s Company. I prefer only episodes with Crissy thank you.
The whole Drew Carey cast pretty much gets on my nerves too.
Carol from Empty Nest. The name of the actress evades me right now. God, I could not stand that neurotic bitch.
Olivia (Ravyn Simone) from The Cosby Show. Yes, she was damn cute. No, she shouldn’t have ever, ever been allowed to speak.
The Brady kids. Every. Last. One.
I agree with you on principle, but I think you’re being a bit too generous. After all, if we give Bob Saget even the tiniest role on another show, isn’t it possible we could see his simpering mug by accident as we’re flipping past?
I’d say Ross from Friends, but I’d feel kind of bad about picking on a character who so obviously needs serious mental help.
And add to that Mercedes Ruehl’s old character on “Frasier.” Three kinds of cold hearted Iron-clad Bi-er, “jerk.”
The single most annoying TV character to me was Urkel on * Family Matters. * I couldn’t watch the show because of him and refuse to watch it in reruns now, not that it was all that great of a show, mind you! LOL My kids liked it, though; I just could never watch it with me because Urkel annoyed me so much. First, his voice grated me-it was like nails on chalkboard. Add to that the way he dressed, with those high-water pants–that character not only hurt my ears, he hurt my eyes.
There are other tv characters that I find annoying (that cartoon-voice guy on * Full House * comes to mind …), but Urkel definitely wins First Prize in annoyance for me.
Unbelievable! Urkel was the only reason to watch Family Matters, imho!
Oh, but this is about characters that annoy people… Well, let’s see, I’d have to second the vote for any kids on tv. As for the cast of Seinfeld, he himself usually annoyed me, because he was just too smooth and reminded me of someone I dislike in real life.
The woman with the incredibly annoying voice on Will and Grace. I don’t know what the character’s name is because every time I hear the voice I want to rip my ears off, and am forced to change the channel.
Ray’s brother. Geesh, how much more grating can a voice be? Get that man some Paxil. Wait, then when he does find a woman, he won’t be able to do anything about it… what a dilemma.
The entire cast of the Drew Carey Show. Even the extras.
The same goes for Full House. Someone needs to find all of the copies of that festering waste of everything and destroy then, preferably by setting the non-Stamos uncle on fire and throwing him on the pile.
All-time number one object of comedy TV-series character hatred: Meg Griffin in Family Guy. Such an useless little whiner, she was. I loved the show, but some episodes with Meg-heavy sideplots were about 10 minutes shorter than usual as far as I’m concerned.
Others:
Kitty Foreman, That 70s Show. OH GOD THAT LAUGHTER
Elaine Benes in Seinfeld. I’m not even sure why she annoys me, but there’s something in there… something.
Tom Sloane. He’s entrance into the world of Daria could be used as an textbook case of shark-jumping. I concur with whomever it was in the Net who said that if the show had ended with episode 312 and someone had written a series of fanfic that are like real-life Season 4 and 5 episodes, Tom would rightfully be pegged as a Mary Sue.
I used to hate Saget until I saw him in Half Baked.
