Site for older vehicle dimensions?

Hi All,

I am trying to find a site that will give details on vehicles dimensions.

Or, at least find the dimensions of an '89 2 door Honda Accord. Length, width, etc.

My mother wants to buy a new car and I am trying to help out. She lives a couple of hours away so it would be difficult for me to measure it. The Honda fits in my Moms garage (not by much), I’m concerned that she may be barking up the wrong tree with some of the vehicles she is looking at.

I have been googleing, but no luck so far.

Dimensions appear to be in millimeters. divide by 25.4 to find inches.

Sorry. That was a 4-door. (You might wander down to the library or bookstore and browse a copy of Chilton’s Repair manuals for the appropriate year.)

Maybe try a library that holds back issues of Consumer Reports. Their annual auto issues have a lot of data as well as the individual reviews of the models.

Good ideas.

I work in the same building as our County library. Never even thought to go that route.

The Chilton’s may do it I’ll check.

According to Cars.com, 89 2dr. is 179.4" long and less than 67" wide
