Hasn’t Keith already hit David??? I seem to remember them having a hideous fight and Keith letting David have it. It was in a hallway near a door. Am I making this up???
I didn’t like how her character was so neurotic- but once they talked in that pyramid thingie I started liking her. And, they don’t need to be making her so plain looking, she’s an attractive person.
There was no evidence in the show for this but when George said to Ruth “You may be my last chance to find happiness” something flipped in my brain and said, “Oh crap, he’s dying.” We’ll see.
Outstanding call. Maybe he’s the one to whom Claire’s referring in the scenes from the next episode when she says, “he’s dead?” Maybe George will get the first five minutes treatment in the final ep.
I haven’t seen this episode yet. It’s waiting for me on the TiVo. I’ll have to prioritize it now, it sounds good.
FTR, Keith and David have come to blows once – it proceeded from them slapping each other around to having a bout of rough and dirty sex on the living room floor. They both seem to like it violent. Of course, that was before Keith lost his job and went all maudlin, and David didn’t have as much reason to be afraid of him then.
I know the June 1 episode is the last for this season - anyone know when they start up the next season? I tried looking briefly on HBO’s site last night, but I gave up…
This is one series that may actually move me to buy a copy for myself.
I don’t think George will be Corpse of the Week in the season finale - they just introduced the character and it just seems too soon. Russell seems like a fair bet, though. He’s got so creepy after Clair dumped him he may have been following her, saw her go to the Planned Parenthood clinic (or whereever she had the abortion), made an assumption about why she was there, and offed himself.
I’m not sure what’s going on with George. If he were a con-artist, why would he volunteer the info on the six marriages? I agree things are doomed (after all, no one can be happy on this show), but I’m not sure if that’s where things are headed. I don’t think we’ll find out until next season, though.
I’m glad to see David show some balls and leave Keith, even though Keith is good eye candy for the show. Yummmm.
