Although I really like Six Feet Under, in a way I am glad that this will be the last season. I think it’s better to end a show while it is still strong than to wait for a shark-jumping decline. That old saying “Live Fast, Die Young, and Leave a Beautiful Corpse” is uniquely appropriate.
I’ve only seen season 1 (on DVD) and the first half of season 3 (when I would hang out with friends who had HBO), but I loved SFU. Recently, a different friend showed me the latest season premiere, and I was reminded again why it was such a great show.
