Yeah, but sk8r is 133t speak! NOOOOO!!!
I HATE that.
Besides, one doesn’t “do ballet”. One STUDIES ballet.
Shee-it. Avril wouldn’t know ballet if it bit her in the ass.
I’d rather go and see the ballet.

Or bite her ass.
Just out of curiosity, yes the movie will suck and the plot will be wafer thin (but on par teen dramas/comedies); but Avril ain’t in it, is she?
You realize you’re criticizing teen pop, which isn’t exactly known for its cerebral focus?
It’s interesting that both of the threads about this movie have wandered onto the subject of biting or kissing Avril Lavigne’s ass.
When I heard about this on the radio, my Epic Film Disaster sense kicked into overdrive.
Let’s make guesses as to how much they will budget this film for, and how much it will make back.
(My opener: $25 million, and it’ll make back only 30% of its’ cost.)
It’s also bad English.
Never underestimate the stupidity of Hollywood producers and American moviegoers.
Oh, please. Nobody spells it like that because they think it’s really spelt like that.
Whether the film flops will depend not on its quality but purely on whether Avril is still popular in 18 months or 2 years’ time when the movie actually come out. And frankly, I have my doubts. Especially if she decides to write all her own songs for her next album.
That’s nothing compared to Jennifer Lopez’s latest single. “Jenny from the Block” actually took 11 people to write. Eleven!
I’d be happy to throw another verb in there…
Personally, I’d like a song from the dancer, later on-she’s a famous ballerina, and she thinks that the “sk8r boi” is a big hack who writes stupid songs.
HA!
“Try not to write any songs on your way to the parking lot!”
Well, in the few interviews I have seen with her, she was always dead tired. Probably she is not used to the jet lag and lacks the experience to “give a better performance” in the interviews. So far, her band was more talkative and entertaining in the interviews…
Nevertheless, I also still like her music. I don’t know whether I am going to see the movie, though.
Yeah, but it’s the principle of the thing.
