Like it or not, there’s a weird, subjective line with rape that is morally ambiguous. And unlike the other “big” crime, murder, there’s a living victim that makes it all the more interesting in hypotheticals. Skald isn’t obsessed with rape, he’s obessed with morally nebulous topics of which the subject of rape emphasizes.
Tom Delay does NOT deserve it, and that is sick. I mean, really sick. I don’t even have words… you disgust me.

Rape isn’t hypothetical to some people, and thinking it’s fascinating is a big fucking red flag for those of us who know better, either through personal experience, or from seeing someone we care about hurt.
For the record, though, I haven’t noticed Skald being particularly creepy on this subject. Although I never read his hypotheticals. Basically, I have no opinion on the OP is what I’m saying.

I read through every single post you linked in your OP and none of them remotely trips my Creepometer (and everybody knows I go completely hysterical about anything involving rape :rolleyes:). Frankly, a big problem in U.S. culture (and presumably that of many other countries, too) is that we don’t talk about rape enough. We shove it under the rug and pretend it doesn’t happen and that when it does it’s something that shames the person it happens to.
I’m sure we all get burned out on Skald’s hypotheticals from time to time. Know how you deal with that? Don’t fucking read them. IMO he’s one of the most consistently interesting and entertaining people on this site. You, on the other hand, I don’t know from Adam.
