Is it just me or does this game seem more contentious then most games?
Yeah, everybody seems pretty high-strung and argumentative… but I get the feeling (not being spoiled) that all the arguing and kerfluffle is mostly theater.
Chronos, as long as you’re spoiling folks, I’d love to hear who has what role. Could you send me a PM?
As in, full spoilage, or just the roles?

This is a very poorly played game, so far(by Town, that is).
I was mostly just curious about who was scum but I’ll take whatever’s easiest for you to send.
Could you Pm and spoil me too please. Am closely watching games so I can join myself soon. This one has me beat, I can’t see a winning strategy for either side playing out.

Assuming that Kelly is telling the truth, his inconsistency could indicate that he received the same player’s name in a PM from the Mod on more than one occasion.
Also assuming that Kelly is telling the truth, I think the Tracker possibility put forth by Natlaw is just as likely as a Detective. If sachertorte and others are using a very general use of the Detective role that includes the Tracker subset, that is one thing. But it may indicate an attempt to steer the Pond to an erroneous conclusion about Kelly.

i would hazzard to guess that the only folks left in this game that would come up with rotelier (sp?) would be story or sach.

It’s quite clear that Kelly mucked his claim up, and will get lysed for it. I feel a little sorry for him because it’s his first game. On the other hand, the Pond now badly need to remove the source of confusion - they can’t trust Kelly in this game now. Plus, if he is Pond, he’s now a source of ongoing confusion the scum can exploit.
I hope he’s not put off by this. We need new players to avoid staleness.
The problem I have with Kelly being scum is that he’s too good at it. I would not expect a newbie to know to do that last green question. Yeah, it appears it isn’t going to work, but it was a very smart move.
In fact, when I read Chronos response, I instinctively came up with a way that Kelly could be Pond: Even if there are no spawn, the randomization still takes, but that, in the event of no Spawn in Winter, the two Summer votes and the Player are random in the town. Or that one of the Scum is actually a Spawn.
But it’s probably more likely that Scum can talk during the Summer.
I’m inclined to agree with the case(s) brewing against sache.
