I accidentally deleted my spoilers (feel free to resend–my box got full so I deleted everything and forgot that I had yet to go to the spoiler board) so this is a totally unspoiled observation…

I’ve heard reference to a game in which Scum was caught by referring to a NK as a lynch. So Rysto in post 1941 making reference to storyteller’s “lynch power” is setting off air raid sirens in my head.

You know, I remember reading that. I was unconvinced.

Who it was, and who caught them, escape me.

That was way back in Mafia 2. The serial killer (MonkeyMensch) noticed a player calling a nightkill a lynch, and killed him that Night. He was scum.

*Why isn’t anyone working out the mislynch numbers? I did the analysis, and voting two players at a time is extremely bad in mislynch terms.

I did, but I thought that posting it would give away the fact that I was looking at the idea from a scum perspective.
