As long as you’re healthy, all that matters is that you like the way you look. If you don’t, how can I?
That just tells us we need fake boobs, fake tans, and fake haircolor (not that my haircolor is real, either)!
The REAL answer is that we should all watch more amateur porn. You never know what you’re gonna get. Now that stuff makes me feel good about myself!
Well I wouldn’t say it like that, but some guys just don’t like heavier women. Or as my buddy and I say “thick”.
I kind of like somewhere in the middle. I don’t really like the tall lankiness of a lot of today’s supermodels or girls who are too waify and androgenous looking. The Rebecca Romaines, Kathy Irelands and Elle Macpheresons from back in the day seem more well proportioned and healthier looking. Your typical curvey Baywatch girl is probably about my ideal but I can also enjoy your meatier treats like Britney Spears or Brooke Hogan (although she looks a bit too much like her dad and that might be…weird.).
I don’t want a situation like SHAKES where it’s like sticking your jimmy into a sack of wreches.
The skinny women I associate with beauty have nothing to do with the fashion model aesthetic, because I don’t pay any attention to fashion models. I don’t read fashion magazines, follow the shows, etc. My attraction to skinny women has existed as long as I’ve been attracted to women, probably since I was 12 or 13. I just have always preferred skinny to curvy, and I know it has nothing to do with what the fashion industry thinks they are telling me to find attractive.
My friend used to say he loved having sex with scrawny women because they made his dick look so much bigger.
Your boyfriend wants to boink Nicole Richie.
Is her boyfriend a bobble head fetishist?!
My usual preference is for skinny, petite, with small boobs.
But my natural tastes have been overridden by other factors a number of times. I’ve been with several larger girls, a couple of whom could be described as plus-sized. This was because they had personality and sexiness that caused me to be attracted to them despite their not fitting my normal type.
No. We (straight) men just all secretly long to appear on TMZ.
This thread needs picture! :smack:
Straight guy here, and I also tend to like the more average weighted women over the super skinny models, but that may be because I find the skeletors to have skully faces and that creeps me out. A skinny girl like Heidi Klum has a beautiful face so her I wouldnt mind. I think that once you get into the models or attractive types, you could pretty much substitute one body for another. The face has the defining features that draws you to that person
A face I find pretty is a must.
I word it that way as some of my male and female friends disagree with some of the people I find beautiful-* radically!*
Mostly I like to look at slim women. Models and such. IME, I do NOT enjoy sleeping with these women unless they are serious athletes with enough muscle to pad where softness doesn’t.
So a happy medium is best. Extremely overweight, as stated earlier, and the figure is entirely lost, so I don’t want either end of the spectrum.
ETA: Oh, and my cousin was a model for bras and panties in catalogs and newspapers. Presented as the women’s clothing model. She was thirteen.
We appreciate that : ). I can weigh the same as a 20 year old but I sure won’t look like she will in a bikini.
I only slept with a very skinny man once and his pelvic bones stuck out so much that it was painful and I ended up with bruises all over mine. He was also such a neat freak that he made us stop to hang up all our clothes along the way. Needless to say that was the last time that I slept with him.
Hey, I apologize for sounding denigrating…I was just repeating a cliche for hyperbolic effect.
I’d agree with the OP on this one. I think women who are skinnier than average have an easier time wearing clothes that look good on them compared to women who are heavier. Clothing that hangs slightly looks better than if it cuts into the skin in some areas.
Also when you ask men (and women I guess) what sort of people they find attractive, you are probably not going to get a perfectly honest answer. Men don’t want to sound ageist/weightist when describing their ideal beauty, lest people think that they are overly shallow or concerned with looks. If someone asked me the question, I could go into great detail about height/weight proportions, fat content, breast size, hair colour etc. but there’s no way I’d do that. People would say my standards are totally unrealistic and that I’m no prize pig myself. My point is that the question itself goes beyond personal preferences, and becomes a reflection on the personality of the speaker.
I like small tits!
There, I said it.
Skinny and athletic (e.g. every Olympic athlete except the East German shotput team): Very attractive.
Skinny by reduced diet (e.g. most actresses and models): Not attractive.
Note that the height/weight ratios between the two groups are nearly identical, yet for me it is a vast difference in appearance. Mia Hamm >>>> Gwyneth Paltrow
I’m going to have to say 80% of it is in the Face, 2.1% Percent in personality and the remainder in body . . .
Different people like different types. But those guys who do like a “thicker” woman (whether that definition is “larger than a size 6” or “pretty fat but curvy” or “really overweight”, or whatever) that feel that they can’t admit it socially… please be honest in social situations.
I’ve said it on this board before, but I’ll see a lot of guys on this board who are white (either remembered from a previous thread or stated before) who will go on and on about how they loooooooooooves them a curvy figure… yet me with my hourglass figure will get hit on by 10 black/hispanic guys for every 1 white guy.
I remember a Weekend Update item about some fashion designer, accompanied by a picture from a haute couture show (clothes, makeup, hair, all as extreme as they could get away with). The punch line was “you design the clothes, and let the straight guys pick the hot women.”
There are women who are too skinny. And there are men who would disagree with me.
I remember the threas where you mentioned it. But remember that:
-
This is the dope… a biased skewed view of society
-
Also, the internet. You may think that everybody is a white male, when in reality they are not.
-
In situations where I’ve gotten either catcalls or I’ve felt the eyes following, yes, it is in a minority group, but there are no whites around. I don’t know how to exactly phrase, other than “groups keep separate”? I don’t know any social group of white men (other than rednecks or construction workers) where it is common to stare/give a catcall at any female that passes by. So your own view may be skewed.
