SL and LP in apartment ads

I just got a new job, and for the first time I have to moce away to go live by myself. This process involves looking for an apartment. It seems that about 75% of the listings I find have one of these two (but never both) abbreviations listed with them, usually the first thing lisated is the abbreviation. I tried to find out what it means with google, but no luck.

So, what DO they mean?

context? please quote an entire ad, not just the abbreviations.

WAG: SL = sublet and LP = leased property

Might be regional; just did a search of Seattle rental ads and found neither one.

So then, seeing you’re in NY, I searched some NY ads . . . and found neither usage. Will wait till you supply a more detailed example.

Mystery solved!

It was a regional thing, it was referring to an apartment being in either Lake Placid or Saranac Lake. Seems so obvious now…
