I am in the midst of a most tedious as well as boooooooooooring task. I am updatin’ most-in-need and waiver factors for all current participants. It’s every bit the excitatement it sounds like it would be. YAWN

Howdy All! still no network computers. it is officially a work stoppage at this point. someone is being flown in to fix it :dubious: tomorrow is payroll day and i am pretty sure my staff wants to be paid so i shall have to travel to find a working computer since the timekeeping system requires the network. i am aggravated.

Back from erranding, and the sun has finally burned thru the fog and overcast. I’ve got the start of a pot of veggie-beef soup simmering - beef, celery, onions, broth, seasonings and a glug of burgundy. I’ve set a timer for when I need to start adding veggies, and the last thing to go in will be barley. At WalMart, I stopped at the used bread rack and got some interesting-looking rolls to go with the soup. They appear to be braided, and they’re kinda hard, so they should be good with soup. We shall see.
I also got some bright yarns. Last Easter, I crocheted bunnies to sell at the store. This year, I’m going to crochet little baskets with little bunnies in them. I just need to find my bunny pattern and figure out a basket pattern - or I could look on line and see if someone else has worked one out for me. I’m going to get started on that - I’d like to have maybe a dozen by the beginning of March.
So, onward!!

Butters, what is up withe PCs? What are the symptoms?
In a similar vein, the router with our new modem became very cranky. At 6:00 I reset it and, as my Mentor told me years ago, “go for the defaults” and let the router pick out it’s configuration. All is still well, I am informed. Otherwise, Mrs. Plant and Stepdaughter (v.3.0) would probably have killed me when I got home from work.
Ain’t as cool a quote as mine!

It’s cold here today. I spent part of the morning with IT trying to get my network printer defaults restored. It’s more of a PITA than a hinderence, but no one seems to know how to do it.
