So glad this thread was brought back to life. I sleep in the nude, and when I’m in my room I’m naked most of the time. (not right now) I’m just more comfortable without clothes.
I generally sleep naked; sometimes I wear socks, sometimes not. I can’t feel my feet anyway, so it doesn’t matter much. Just a question of whether I feel like taking them off. I usually keep a nightshirt next to my bed for when I get up/if I get cold.
Whenever I’ve slept with boyfriends for the night, I’ve been naked.
I sleep in more clothing than most people wear to shovel snow. AND I have an electric blanket and two enormous quilts.
Hubby always slept nude, until our daughter went through a bout of nightmares that could only be cured by sleeping in our bed, so now he wears those drawstring jammie pants.
Wow, I am a freak!
I absolutely cannot sleep naked. Unless I’m in a house with no air conditioning, I’m always always cold and I can’t stand the way sheets feel on my skin without some kind of clothing on. I usually sleep in a long-sleeved thermal shirt and these baggy black PJ pants with strawberries printed on them. I sleep with socks about 50/50.
I usually wear my PJs around the house after work, and when it’s time for bed, I just stop what I’m doing and crash. Before I had PJs I used to sleep in jeans and whatever shirt I happened to be wearing that day. That’d be just taking off my shoes and going right to bed.
When I travel, I always do. In fact, I spend a great deal of my hotel room time alone, in the nude or at worse, in underpants. It’s wonderful.
It’s not tolerated at home, and so I sleep in shorts and shirt in the summer, and a flannel nightshirt or jammies in the winter.
Naked 75% of the time, 25% in pj’s…
but if I sleep naked, I’ll walk around the house naked… I even walk out and get the morning paper naked, but I do that much less frequently since I moved to Michigan – it gets too cold up here…
I had a naked meighbor in Alabama… was always fun when we were getting the paper at the same time – she’s used to wave and I’d salute
I always sleep naked.
I also keep ugly orange sweatpants next to the bed in case of emergency.
I tend to get cool, so sometimes au naturel.
I always sleep naked, even in the winter.
Naked when I’m with my honey, jammies or t-shirt when I’m alone.
I sleep in the nude when I’m at home or when not sleeping in a room with others (about 98% of the time), but when I travel with others and share hotel rooms for example, I wear PJs. My fiance also sleeps nude, but wears boxers to sleep in when sharing a room with others.
I sleep in the nude about 30% of the time. The other 70% I wear tank tops or bra tops and just undies. Of course, I am the type that completely disrobes as soon as I get home, so I am nude alot. But when I sleep, (unless I am sleeping with someone) I kind of prefer to have just a little something on. By the way, I live alone, so it’s not like there is anyone else here to offend.
I used to sleep in The Nude, but then she dumped me.
: : rimshot : :
My theory for how this thread was brought back to life: someone was searching for all threads containing the phrase “nude” or “naked”. Dirty mind!
I used to wear short and t-shirt until I met my wife, who showed me the beauty of the naked body. Specifically, the beauty of her naked body. I just try to keep up.
I am massively repressed - I don’t think I’ve slept alone nude 5 times. Briefs, no shirt unless it is very cold.
On the rare occasions I’ve slept with someone, if I come to bed naked, she can assume I am thinking there is a good chance we’re going to fool around.
Nakey nakey nakey!
Last time I was at my folks house, I came out of my room to go to the bathroom. My dad was walking by at that exact moment. We both went  and ran away.
I sleep nude all the time. I’ve gotten use to it, and I’m not comfortable sleeping in clothes. If I have to wear something, I’ll wear loose sweatpants.
My wife can’t stand it when the covers are tucked in at the foot of the bed, so in cold weather I am sometimes forced to wear socks. That’s not too bad.
People are always coming into my room to wake me up, so I guess I’m too modest. Shorts and a t-shirt usually, without the shirt if it’s hot. Perhaps when I’m living along, I’ll try it nude, but I have no real need to. I can sleep just as comfortably in clothes as without.
I always sleep naked unless we have guests, or are staying with friends. Then it will be shorts, with a t-shirt by the bed for walking around.
My wife will sleep naked some of the time, or wearing a short nightdress (mmmmhh satin). Pyjama jacket if her shoulders are cold (she feels the cold much more than I do).
Our windows are usually open, winter and summer.
Usually naked most of the day too - especially at the workstation. Only one big window at the front of the house (curtains closed), and enough trees and bushes at the back (where the PC is) that our windows (curtains oipen) are not overlooked. Living at the top of a hill helps.
I’ve not thought about why - just more confortable I guess. But I would draw the line at embarrassing (or scaring) visitors.
I simply can’t sleep WITH clothes on. I toss and turn a lot and I just can’t stand the feeling of T-shirt and shorts, etc. bunching up and twisting around me, cutting off circulation in my shoulders, and so forth.
I’ve been sleeping in my birthday suit since I was 12 years old - 29 years later and I can’t stop now.
