Smallville 9/27/2007--Can we say "jump the shark"?

I’m only watching at this point for two reasons.

  1. I want to see Clark fly. We’ve seen Kal-El fly, Zod fly (in Lex’s body,) and Kara fly. Clark knows he can fly, so hurry up already! (I think part of the problem here is that I remember reading early on when the show was first on the air, that the producers “promised” not to have Clark fly and wear tights.)

  2. I don’t think this is spoiler material, because it’s only a rumor/speculation that I’ve heard, but I’ll spoiler anyway:

I’ve heard that Doomsday might show up as the “big bad” this season (or at least the final one,) and I would soooooo love to see that.
