SmartMini cam... anyone have one?

http://www.coolonlineproducts.com/smartmini/

This looks really cool… not as something to take breathtakingly good digital images with, but just as something to have around for taking spur of the moment stuff…

Does anyone have one and know what the quality is like? Or what the image resolution is?

No telling what the picture resolution/quality is like, I’d hazard a guess that it’s not great 320x240 max and a little fuzzy at best. I can’t find any other information on it

Opalcat, it’s been my experience that all those no-name, ultra cheap digicams are probably junk. The ultra small CCD and cheaply made lens will give poor color and sharpness even if you find the resolution acceptable. Everything is a tradeoff and a good camera will cost much more but I threw away too much money on junk cameras before I got a good one.

I have a good one, and I love it… but I don’t carry it around with me. There are LOTS of times when I wish I’d had it, though… something that I could just keep in my purse would be cool…

(and I gotta tell my family something for Xmas or I get ugly clothes)

not great, not horrible, but damn thats a small camera.

oh Harmonix that is cute as hell!!! That looks MUCh better, too. Thanks

It’s cute but the question with small things is, where do you put your fingers? They can keep getting in the way of the lens or flash.

Also Target in their weekly ad (only until Dec 7th) has a mini digital camera for $36.00 & some weird DV cam with tripod for $54. target.com then select weekly ad & try the pages until you see it on the bottom of the ad page.

that one is the “Concord EyeQ Easy Mini” and I can’t find anywhere online that sells them!

$35? Damn, they’ll be giving them away in cereal boxes soon, just like calculators.
