My son and I were at the Pentagon City Mall in Arlington VA this afternoon, and left an hour or two ago. It appears that minutes after we left, there was an organized armed robbery:
Three guys in ski masks with hammers smashed glass cases, then deployed a fire extinguisher, then left and are still at large.

I’m reminded of the time we shopped at a strip mall in suburban Indianapolis in the '80s, leaving about an hour before three people were shot and killed during a robbery at a nearby store.
I’m reminded of the time we went to Arby’s drive-thru and a few hours later, after closing, it caught fire. It took over a year to re-open.
They were really roasting that beef!
