Smiley election timing

Let’s see… the first smiley election was around May-June of 2002.

The second smiley election was December of 2002.

I have to guess that the next smiley election will be around May-June of 2003?

I just want to replace that :o smiley with something more recognizable and befitting such an otherwise high-quality board such as the Straight Dope. And I don’t want to miss the submission period.
