snickers ad--who's the guitar player?

Hopefully I searched and this one isn’t around.

My daughter wants to know who the guy is playing guitar in the snickers ad.

I, quickly, over my shoulder, said it looks like Sylvester Stalone. But I doubt it.

I tried the website, but nothing that I can find.

Any help?

We don’t get US ads here so I’ve not seen it, but I do recall there was a guitarist who played for Alice Cooper for a long time who looked rather like the Rambo character; sleeveless shirt, bulging muscles, guitar done up like an automatic weapon … could it be him?

Here’s a page with ads

I assumed it was some random actor/musician. Certainly not Sylvester.

The “t” nearly disappears when he sings, “Happy peanuts soar…” The whole thing is so absurd, they must have made a ton of takes before they got one where neither actor laughed.

Singer and eater: …to the world.
Eater: The world!
Singer: That’s right.

I love those ads. Make me crack up every time they come on.

I never noticed it before, but on the latest one (that I’ve actually noticed) he grabs the guitar and plays it lefty. Pick guard on top, neck towards the right. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, just never noticed him being a lefty.

I always thought it was Chris Isaak

Definitely not. I agree with mack - it’s a random singer/actor, not someone well known.

Thanks for the link. Nope, definitely not the guy I was thinking of. For a start I assumed an electric guitar.

Is it Jack Mulcahy? I noticed here it mentions he does a Snickers ad this year… maybe?

Damn! That’s why the Dope is the best. You hit it.

You’re thinking of Kane Roberts. Most of us are trying to forget him!

I thought he looked more like Robert Patrick (T-1000) than Stallone. Sounds a lot like Adam Green, too.
