I remember reading a story about Hammond expressing his surprise when the firefighters who had just finished extinguishing his burning residence asked him to do some impressions.
Hammond, being a good sport, obliged them.
I thought this was one of the best episodes in ages. The CEO sushi bit was even sorta funny (sorta), and to me that was the show’s low point. Oh, wait, except for the Vincent Price thing. I didn’t feel like sitting through another one of those, so I went out for a smoke. But two misses in the whole show ain’t bad at all - and the rest of the show was pretty good. And the band was new to me, but I liked them quite a bit (and I wasn’t expecting to given their stupid name.)
Letting Horatio on Weekend Update is still way too damn much Horatio, though.
The Barry Bonds bit on Weekend Update made me laugh hard- especially the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics. I’m giggling now just thinking about it.
