I like Stefon, and Hader keeps it fresh (supposedly he doesn’t know the final version of what Stefon is going to say until he reads it off the teleprompter), but they need to take him out of WEEKEND UPDATE. Every sketch is exactly the same, but there’s still comedy potential if they show him in, say, a Starbucks (Hader based the character on a Starbucks barista he knows) or have a Digital Short following him around town. Just as he once called Jersey Shore’s Snookie (sp?) for ‘drunk orange leopard’ it would be interesting if some of the places aren’t as exotic as his perception of them.

I still think one of the funniest bits I’ve seen on SNL with Justin Timberlake was that “3 Way” song with Lady Gaga. That shit was hilarious!
My favorite skit happened to be the last one of the show. The one with the two ex porn stars pitching champagne. I’ve seen porn stars talk in behind-the-scenes footage and yes, they are that stupid.
Hah! Just got Suit & Tie from iTunes and discovered a discrepancy in the lyrics between the SNL version and the iTunes version at about 2:16. A little Googling reveals that why:
Kanye West, at a recent concert in London: "I got nothing but love for Hov, but I ain’t … with that ‘Suit and Tie’
JT: [actual lyric] “Shit so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit”
JT on SNL: “My hit’s so sick, got rappers actin’ dramatic.”
He slid that in so smooth it was hardly noticeable but it’s all over the internet now.
