I am soundly mocked by coworkers and my husband alike for saying that I like Justin Timberlake. I was one who dismissed him as just another boy band teen pop idol, but I secretly liked a few songs from his Justified album and after seeing him do his first SNL show I had new respect for him. Now I have his latest album and looked forward to seeing his latest SNL appearance. I don’t love the whole album but I think it’s pretty good and he obviously has musical and acting talent. Partly I like him because he doesn’t take himself too seriously, most musicians would be way ‘too cool’ to do the SNL skits that Timberlake does…how many would dress up in that soup costume?

He even made the Target sketch and the Dry Eyes sketch funny, only because of his character. And I laughed out loud at the Hip Hop Kidz sketch, usually that late in the show they are just filler.

I was happy that I DVR’d that episode, I watched “dick in a box” several times and laughed every time. Unfortunately our Dish Network box crashed this weekend and our whole DVR history has been wiped out :smack: we don’t get a new box until Thursday! ARGH.

Hijack: I found the Dick in a box clip, and the Natalie Portman Rap , but I can’t seem to fine the Narnia rap that people are talking about. Can I get a link to it?

SNL should limit Sandberg’s on screen appearances to digital shorts. He seems very good at these, but he has yet to make a mark in sketches- or been able to come up with that SNL standby, the recurring character.
