Got 8-10" yesterday and was feeling lazy so didn’t plow, just went skiing…or so I thought. Slipped off the driveway and PLANTED my 4x4 full-size pickup with studded snows in our field. Totally high-centered. Had to plow it out and then pull it out with the tractor. THEN I went skiing.
It was by far the most progressive / smart part of the South. Then ALEC got ahold of them about 15-20 years ago, and they’ve turned hard right. They just have farther to go than other states in that part of the country before they get there.
