So, a long weekend in London

I’m currently having a cup of tea across from St. Paul’s Cathedral looking forward to a great and relaxing weekend.

London is always as long as you stay away from the more touristy areas.

To be fair, if you’re interested in London you’re going to see fuck all from St Pauls.

Have a grerat weekend though; lets hope the sun comes out !

Walk down towards the Millenium bridge and have a walk along the south bank up to Tower Bridge, always one of my favourite strolls, Tate modern, Golden Hinde, the Clink, HMS Belfast, the Globe, Borough Market, The Shard, Southwark Cathedral.

all good stuff.

We are all up there on Sunday at the EXel arena for the Science show. Small world (but big city)

Let me know if you’re around tomorrow - going to the pub with various people you sort of know and you’re welcome asking if you want to. Not 100% sure I’ll make it though.

It would have been great to have seen you. Eating in restaurants alone isn’t much fun. I’m back in the hotel very early because my feet are killing me. I didn’t find a nice play to see - The Audience would have been nice but it’s sold out. I have walked a considerable distance today and spent much time in the National Gallery and the Mall Gallery. The latter had some lovely pieces but my mother paints better than many of those exhibiting there.

I had some fun walking down Bond Street going in to all the jewellers and asking about pocket watches. No one seems to sell them any more, but I was able to look at some spectacular pieces - and spectacularly priced too.

Welcome! I was down at the South Bank today, the sun did peep out just for a moment. I took a picture, in case I forget again what the sun looks like. Hope the rain hasn’t spoiled your trip!
