There is some serious “gold” material in this thread, one could write a book almost. Most of the nails have already been hit on the head.

My advice it to try often, no matter the result. The worst response you can get is a no, or a bit worse if she’s mean. Collect data, repeat, but not in a continuous loop, get a good feeling for how women react to your approach, and then modify it to minimize negative effects.
You have a type (you certainly have a niche), your type (hopefully) congregates somewhere, at least occasionally. Find that place, meet women… It might be a co-op, a bookstore, yoga thingy, Del Taco, grocery store, local College campus…
You want a woman, she wants a man. Neither of you should care about the texture of dish towels until waaay later. In the mean time, have fun. There’s always time for talk about intellectuality later, this isn’t a job interview, now or ever.
