I *really* have a date!

So, continuing on from this thread

I made contact with an intriguing woman on LavaLife. We’ve been emailing since Monday, and she wants to meet! She writes beautifully; her picture may have initially piqued my interest, but her writing is confirming that interest.

So next weekend, we are probably going to check out the Merrill Collection of Science Fiction and Fantasy.

::…oh, and do the laundry ::

Yay!

starts sending good vibes Toronto-ward…

Go get 'em tiger! Good luck. On behalf of this non-dating Doper, I hope it all goes well.

Thanks!

Wow, that Twickster mojo is powerful stuff, she’s responsible for me and my guy getting together a year and a half ago!

May you find happiness as well, can’t think of a more deserving guy.

To quote my good friend Rob, “dont forget to slip her the sausage”

Notching off my arrows and stringing the bow for you, mate. Hope it goes really well.

Yay! I’m excited for you. Good luck!

So maybe we should make that night out a double date?

Good for you!

Just remember the 4"s" rule of a first date

Shower, Shave, Smile and Scondoms…

good luck!

Have fun!

Another congratulations and good luck from me. Keep us posted.

Maybe the second or third time. Sweet sensuous words online are fine, but she and I still have to find out whether we can stand each other in the flash.

In the flash? Are you going to introduce her to Mr. Winky already?

Classy.

Best wishes, Sunspace. Somedays I can still hardly believe that the incredible guy I met from online ads thinks I’m just as incredible. It really does happen.

%$#@*& freudian slip **&@!!@

Thanks. I just keep remembering the date where we’d been getting along well online, then we met, and there was nothing. No spark, no chemistry, no nuttin’. It was very frustrating, because you can’t make yourself feel attraction that isn’t there. It just doesn’t work.

I had any number of meet-and-greets like that. I made it my m.o. to meet as quickly as possible for just that reason. No sense in dragging out the inevitable - either you get on well in real life, or you don’t.

Pfah! So far it’s done zip for yours truly. accusing, demanding glances in twickster’s direction

Good luck, Sunspace. Let us know how it turns out.

Ooh congrats! I hope you have a happy, relaxed date.

Have fun!

Pfft! I was just thinking I needed some twicky mojo myself, for this latest round of online [del]masochism[/del] dating… :smack:
