So...anyone want to see pictures of my new kitty?

And here I thought I had come up with an original name! That’s cool, I’m sure mind doesn’t mind sharing it (although yours probably had it first).

What a cutie! Congrats!

I have recently adopted a new cat recently as well. She is just the most cuddly sweetest little bit a kittie ever. Her name is Lucy

That’s strange. The link worked in preview. Oh well. I tried. Trust me, she is a cutie.

I used to have a black cat named Loki.

It annoyed me that everyone thought his name was Lucky. The secretary at the vet even wrote that on his chart and I had to have them change it.

Awww, what cute little kitties everyone. BTW, this is probably a dumb question but what exactly does “Loki” mean?

DAmn, he’s cute! He could be a twin to my Maggie!!!

I love little grey kitties. He looks like a charmer.

See here to find out.

Thanks, that works much better

Pic 3 is so charming. He’s obviously settled in with you really well, congratulations on finding such a great cat, you’re both very lucky.

That’s how I got my cat Monica. I went to PetCo in San Mateo to get some litter. She just stared at me, I melted, and that was history.
I got my cat Coalman (BTW: they’re both black) from a policewoman who found a starving litter when she was on patrol. She sent them to a pet rescue organization in Oakland. Of the litter of 6, only 2 survived, and they were in bad shape. I adopted Coalman and Ozzie (grey tabby–he looked like an Ocelot). Coalman fit into the palm of my hand and barely weighed anything. Ozzie turned out to have gotten a disease (not FIV) before he was found and died almost a year later from it. I’ve had Coalman for about 8 years now.
Getting kittens from pet rescue is one of those good things that if you do them you win extra points for Heaven.

We used to have a couple of those, but had to stop using them because one of our cats liked to attack the bubbles rising up in the bottle, which would invariably result in the bottle being knocked over.

Believe it or not, I took that about two hours after bringing him home.

I do feel lucky, because of all the cats I’ve had in my life (and I’ve had a bunch), Loki has the best personality. If I bring someone over, he’ll walk right up and introduce himself. He loves everyone, and everyone loves him.

Now, if I could just get him to stop trying to eat my plants…

 In that case it was obviously meant to be.
