Her I am in the third richest per capita country in the world. No recession here. We are about to go on summer holiday and my contractor guy came around to tell all thirty-plus of us that we are fired. “The Qataris are cutting back.” I bet you a dime they are advertising for our replacements.
So anyway, back into the job market I go.
How was your day?
I’m sorry to hear that Paul . Any chance of another position in Qatar?
Aww, man, that stinks! Sorry to hear your news. Hope you get something lined up in short order.
Grumble, more bother than anything else. The new term starts (someplace) in September!
Wow, sorry to hear that. Good luck job hunting.
That is too bad. Here’s to having a nice August off work, and back at it come September!
Sorry to hear about this.
But you have to admit, “Paul in Cambodia” does have a nice ring to it.
Sorry to hear about that, Paul .
If it helps, I’m on a tight deadline today and wishing someone would fire me – but it’s my own business. sigh
Hang in there. I’m sure it’ll be Paul in Hawaii or Paul in Belize soon enough (unless you like Qatar better, that is).
Aw, man, that sucks. I’m sorry.
Sorry to hear your news. Sending out a wish for short job search!
I was thinking he’s more deserving of Paul in Puerto Vallarta.
Just kind of rolls off the tongue nicely.
Sorry to hear this – hope you find a new job quickly.

A friend of mine leaves for a new life in Doha tomorrow morning. This doesn’t bode well…
Good luck finding another position, Paul .
Aw man. Sorry.
My vote is for either Travelin’ Paul or The World According to Paul .
