Apologies to Republicans, but you must admit you’d probably be at least as happy to see a Democratic incumbent lose in CA or NY.
It’s now 56/44, with 76% of the vote in; fairly conclusive, but all is not yet said and done. It just occurred to me that this will be one of the few elections where the numbers for the two major candidates will actually add up to 100%; anybody not voting for one of them isn’t going to be inclined to vote in the runoff election anyway.
