… there are two responses to the OP, and probably quite a few views?
I am referring to this thread created by TuckerFan and his question about yellow bracelets. Duke and myself posted responses, yet the post count remains at a big goose egg, while views remains at one.
Could it be that our two responses at exactly the same time did this?
It’s part of the Hamster Protest. Happens every election year, about this time; they get tired of dealing with the incessant posts about why it was unfair who won. (Do you know how hard it is to translate “Bush” into machine language 138,671 times in an eight-hour shift, when you only weigh eight ounces and have to take time out to polish off a few sunflower seeds between bouts of coding?)
OK, I’ll buy that. But you are talking election postings and I’m talking cancer.
Oh, wait.
Sorry. We really could be talking about the same thing.
Ah, Hamster Project? No lab rats?
And before anyone jumps my bones, I am not making light of cancer, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, yadda, yadda, yadda. I am merely contributing to Polycarp’s explanation in the same manner in which it was delivered. It’s an attempt at humor.
Nor, I hasten to add, was I. Without looking at the thread Duckster linked to and realizing it was an important and sobering one, I simply decided to do another riff on the longstanding hamster joke. I sincerely hope no one was offended.
