Somehow, with 16 friends on Friendster, I’ve ended up with a personal network of:
735,190 people.
(I know, it’s not a contest and someone will shortly be along who has many more connections. It just surprises me that my connections have gotten that high.)
BuddyRank is a measure of a person’s importance, computed in the same manner that Google uses PageRank to measure webpage importance. BuddyRank is only computed for members who have submitted their Buddy List, and is updated daily.
IIRC, I became disillusioned when I found that many of the “contacts” are just cities. For instance, someone links to “City of Columbus” which has 100,000 “friends”. Then they link to you and you shoot from 1 contact to 100,001.
To me, it wasn’t an accurate listing of “buddies”.
