So, how many people are in your Friendster network?

Somehow, with 16 friends on Friendster, I’ve ended up with a personal network of:

735,190 people.
(I know, it’s not a contest and someone will shortly be along who has many more connections. It just surprises me that my connections have gotten that high.)

1,705,532 through 69 friends. Care to help me reach 70?

Sure thing (someday I’ll get to 20 friends. Really.)

I’m the same as my Dope e-mail, Lsura_at_hotmail.com.

5 friends, 264,652 people in my network.

I wonder if we could get enough data to plot the relationship between friend number and network size.

All the qool kids have moved over to Tribe dontcha know.

I dunno about that, but here are my BuddyZoo stats (kinda like Friendster but for AIM users):

Popularity ranking: 5975 (percentile: 99.927).
BuddyRank score: 2.93

BuddyRank ranking: 2324

BuddyRank is a measure of a person’s importance, computed in the same manner that Google uses PageRank to measure webpage importance. BuddyRank is only computed for members who have submitted their Buddy List, and is updated daily.

Go me!

I have almost 3 people in my Friendster list. I never really got the hang of that website.

On the other hand, I’ve got 17 friends, 22,345 in Network (and maintain one of their more populated electronic music tribes) at tribe.net

IIRC, I became disillusioned when I found that many of the “contacts” are just cities. For instance, someone links to “City of Columbus” which has 100,000 “friends”. Then they link to you and you shoot from 1 contact to 100,001.

To me, it wasn’t an accurate listing of “buddies”.

And Myspace.

And Yafro.

And Orkut.
