So I can get Showtime now via Hulu. Do they have anything to offer?

So I guess Hulu and Showtime partnered up. For an additional (On top of my Hulu subscription) $9 a month, I can get Showtime.

It’s been many years since I’ve had Showtime. Do they have anything good to offer? I’ve heard Masters of Sex is supposed to be pretty good. Do they have anything else?

(My favorite genre is Sci-Fi but I welcome all input)

Penny Dreadful is quite fantastic.

I only saw 1 episode of The Affair, but it was really good (and now I can watch the rest of the season).

Homeland. One of the best.
Ray Donavan. Very good.
Masters of Sex. Pretty good.

The Affair is really good. I’ll second Penny Dreadful, too. I’m not going to brag a whole lot on Ray Donovan, but I do watch it. It’s decent.

I loved the first season of Masters of Sex, the second wasn’t quite as good, and I’m looking forward to the third, which starts on Sunday. Michael Sheen is worth watching no matter what he’s doing, even if you don’t have a crush on him (which I do).

Episodes is a lot of fun. The first few seasons of Nurse Jackie were good (later seasons not so much, but I kept watching).

Interesting. I can watch season 3 episode 1 of MoS right now if I wanted to. I won’t because I want to start from the beginning. But if I were already into the show, it seems I could watch it a few days earlier than most.

I went ahead and signed up. The first month is free. I’m not happy with the search engine. You can’t sort through movies by genre. You can only scroll through them alphabetically. Grr!!
