I just popped over to http://www.knoxnews.com - yes, it’s a bad paper, but just to see what was going on in the area. What do I see? A train derailment in West Knox County/Farragut. With people being evacuated, story here.
The evacuation center listed is fairly close to my apartment, so I assume I can get home. It might take me a while though. Maybe this is a sign that I should study longer?
It is drifting away from me though…so maybe I’ll actually make it home.
Luck to you Lsura
Eh, no problems. You know, they really should place the high schools where I think they are, not where they put them when they were built.
Bearden elementary is near me, not Bearden High School. It’s some other high school near my apartment.
Ah well. And I got all excited for nothing.
LOL. Even better.
No worries darling… Ask Weird Dave about our night out on the town of Baltimore.
Upon reflection (and seeing my current sig line) Maybe you should forget I mentioned it.
Bearden HS is right down the street from me. Luckily for me, I won’t have the little shits tramping through my lawn tomorrow as the school has been closed because too many people are camping in the gym.
So, what do you think of K’ville so far, Lsura? Are these people the crappiest, wimpiest drivers ever or what?
Oh my freakin’ God. Ok, I drive Kingston Pike a lot, or at least portions of it. I’ve figured out the rules for driving there: Everyone goes slow, as in 30 mph. Or they want to go 55 in the 45 and ride right up my butt.
I forgot how bad drivers could be. Atlanta has bad traffic and aggressive drivers, but not generally bad as in doing completely stupid things. Knoxville has bad drivers.
But I don’t dislike it here. Not really. Apart from the drivers, I’m enjoying being here.
