seriousart it really does sound like someone messed up the day of the airing. It makes much more sense that an Xmas card would be in a scene sometime closer to the actual holiday.
But be sure that now we know that there’s something to look for we regular ER viewers will keep our eyes peeled for it!

I was sorta annoyed by how many green things there are on that set. What a lot of false alarms! (Is that it? No, that’s a green file folder…Is that it? No, for some reason the Dr has a green “cozy” on the end of their stethescope. Etc!)

Sorry, Seriousart. I just swear I’ve seen someone say something along the lines of “I have a greeting card that is going to be shown on ER this week” somewhere else recently. I only lurk on this board, televisionwithoutpity, bulldogsworld. com, and occasionally digsmagazine. Maybe was it one of the others? Or maybe it was just my imagination…
What a major bummer, serious. I was in a mental Christmas card frame of mind, focussed on anything green that moved or stood still while still trying to figure out what a Christmas card would be doing in an episode shown in November…
Keep us posted. It’s bound to show up eventually. Maybe they’ll do a last minute switch and make it an Easter card, just to build up the suspense.
Yeah… it’s not even the yearly-very-special-thanksgiving episode yet, so having a Christmas card this early would be kind of odd. We’ll all be looking for it when the decorations go up in the ER. They should hang lights on Frank or Jerry to make it more festive.
Wow! At least three dopers working for the same “big-ass greeting card company[sup]TM[/sup].” So, I’m thinking that maybe there’s a market for SDMB-specific cards. You know…
