So is Luann about to lose her virginity?

This is all kinds of wrong. Her parents are in the house fixing dinner, she’s in her room with a boy and closes and locks the door? No, no, no, this is too awkward to even think about. I can’t imagine them doing anything in those circumstances! What a libido killer, knowing the parents are right there!

“Mom, I can’t open the door! I’ve got a quill stuck in me!”

Admit it: you weren’t ever actually a teenager, were you?

A link to the relevant strip.

To the tune of “Copa Cabana”…this is brilliant.

I guess the creator of “Luann” isn’t pushing any people’s buttons in 2013. In 1983, a cousin of mine shared a bedroom with me (He was 21; I am 13 years older). He had a girlfriend, who has since become his wife. A friend of his was going to work on my car (brake service), and I dared not blow the whistle–the girl was sharing the bed with him–lest the repair deal fall through.
Anyway, one morning Bill and Janie came downstairs from the bedroom. When my Mom saw them she blew several fuses at them; probaby the angriest she has ever been at a blood relative (outside the immediate family). She would be damned if she would have allowed my *sister *(who never brought her boyfriends over anyway) to lock themselves in her bedroom!

Gives new meaning to the phrase “I come from a land down under”…

As of 06-20-2013’s strip, I’d guess heavy petting at most.

Yeah, it’s a comic, and she’s an underaged girl. At best or worst, something will be implied that could be interpreted in different ways. Frankly, I think we just saw that part.

Luann is just a tease. If I were ever to bet on a comic strip teenager to lose her virginity, it would still be April Patterson from For Better or For Worse.

Totally roadside!

That’s interesting, considering that she was almost raped by a coworker.
Come back in ten years and ask about Gracie Bermudez.

April, not Lizardbreath.

I am…probably hopelessly lame, but whenever I hear the term “heavy petting,” the first thing I think of is this.

Yanno, it would give a whole new complexity to the term ‘comic strip.’

Would you believe…Luann-The Musical!

No.

And of course, just talking.

Did you listen to the musical clips?
